As always monetary donations are greatly needed and go farther for us because we can buy food at a discounted rate. More food for the money.

The HGNFS is also now the recipient of the Fresh Green Buck$ sold at Festival Foods in Hugo. The fresh produce certificates in $5, $10 and $20 amounts allow the food shelf to purchase produce for distribution to neighbors in need.

You may also drop off non-perishable food donations at the Royal Credit Union – Hugo which is a satellite drop off location.

The Hugo Good Neighbors Food shelf Participates in Minnesota FoodShare. This program addresses food insecurity and poverty by engaging communities throughout the state via education and state and federal advocacy efforts. Minnesota FoodShare also provides resources to food shelves and food distribution programs across the state through the annual March Campaign.
